“Yahoo No Dey Pay Again, Tell Your Brothers and Boyfriends to Learn Skills Like Barbing and Trading” — King Mitchy
Media personality King Mitchy has urged young Nigerians involved in internet fraud, popularly known as Yahoo, to abandon it and learn legitimate skills, claiming the scheme is no longer paying as it used to.
Speaking in a video, she said some people who still appear financially comfortable are mainly spending money they made and saved in the past, while others are now struggling to pay rent.
Mitchy advised girlfriends and family members of people involved in fraud to encourage them to learn skills such as barbering, social media marketing, car sales and real estate promotion instead of pressuring them to maintain an expensive lifestyle.
She also warned young people considering internet fraud as a career to avoid it and focus on building sustainable sources of income.
