“Our Calling as Nigerians Is to Be Spiritual Revivalists, We Were Not Made to Build Engines Like the Chinese” — Apostle Arome Osayi
Apostle Arome Osayi has said Nigeria’s purpose goes beyond economic and political achievements, arguing that the country has a spiritual calling to spark revival and spread the gospel globally.
Speaking in a sermon, Osayi said Nigerians should not compare themselves with countries such as China based solely on manufacturing and technological achievements, insisting that nations have different callings.
He claimed that Nigeria’s early Christian leaders sought God over the nation’s purpose and received what he described as a revelation that Nigeria would provide missionaries to spread the gospel around the world.
“We are a key player, we are a stakeholder in end-time matters,” he said, urging Nigerians to look beyond issues such as the naira and political power and recognise what he considers the nation’s larger spiritual assignment.
