AAC Party Seeks Approval to Use Aso Rock Presidential Villa for Inauguration of Sowore’s 2027 Presidential Campaign Council
The African Action Congress (AAC) has formally written to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, requesting approval to hold the inauguration of its Presidential Campaign Council at the Presidential Villa, Aso Rock, Abuja, on November 11, 2026.
In a letter dated October 21, 2026, and signed by its National Secretary, Oshiokhue Philip Ikpेम ioghena, the party also requested food, drinks, and other logistical support for participants.
The AAC stated that its request was based on the principles of multiparty democracy, political inclusiveness, fairness, and equal treatment of political parties.
The party further referenced arrangements reportedly extended to the All Progressives Congress (APC) for a similar political engagement, arguing that public institutions should serve all Nigerians without partisan discrimination.
The Presidency has yet to respond to the request, according to the information contained in the letter.
