Lere Olayinka Mocks Seyi Makinde After Bauchi Governor, Bala Muhammed Praises Tinubu's Reforms
A media aide to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Lere Olayinka, has mocked Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde after Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, praised President Bola Tinubu’s economic reforms.
Mohammed, who is also a Senatorial candidate of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) for the 2027 election, said Tinubu’s reforms had increased the resources available to state governments and created opportunities for improved infrastructure and service delivery.
The Bauchi governor said subnational governments were proud of the impact of the reforms on grassroots development, noting that the additional resources had strengthened the capacity of states to deliver services to citizens.
Reacting to Mohammed’s remarks, Olayinka took a swipe at Makinde, who he described as a close ally of the Bauchi governor and a political associate ahead of the 2027 election.
